MAURICIE
There is a fork in the Route verte in the Mauricie region. The first prong follows the Chemin du Roy (Route 138) and runs alongside Lake St. Pierre, a broad basin in the St. Lawrence that is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The second plays fast and loose with the twists and turns of the Saint-Maurice River, which it crisscrosses before heading for La Mauricie National Park, for a total of 81 kilometres of bikeways and roads. |
