Bikeroutes, greenways and bicycle touring
-This is the third in a series of reports on the Route verte and the development of bicycle touring in Québec. The first two reports were entitled Le cyclotourisme au Québec à l’heure de la Route verte (1999) and Tourisme et vélo: vers l’inauguration de la Route verte (2004), both of which were prepared by the Transat Chair in Tourism in preparation for conferences on these issues. This report on bikeways, greenways and bicycle touring is a compilation of the information gathered from participants of the International Mobile Forum, which was held from August 5 to 10, 2007, to mark the official launch of the Route verte.
